I have been asked on several occasions to start a web-site. Some students say that it may be of help to them. It is on this request that finally I agreed. It is only in the aim of helping others on the spiritual path.

I could not do this without help. For the technical assistance I owe all thanks to a student and friend, Fabrice Bouteliere, without his time and efforts this web-site would not exist.

For my sharings, I owe firstly my gratitude to my mother, who was my first Guru and first spiritual teacher. She taught me not only verbally but by her very life. I will at some point write much more about her. Secondly my grand-mothers and my father. In schools, the men who were my teachers. In the religious life I owe much also to my spiritual guides. I owe also gratitude to a woman who taught me a sitting technique for meditation, a format which changed my life forever. Her name is Fern.

A teacher at one time, Maharishi who gave me personal teachings. I am also forever grateful to some people whose lives were examples and whose writings are great forms of wealth still to be explored and digested. I think of Fr.Jean Deschanet, Fr. Bede Griffiths,Fr Henri Le Saux.. Ven.Namgyal Rimpoche who was my first Buddist teacher and who led me through pilgrimage to The Karmapa of Rumtek Monastery in Sikim.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama who I met on several occasions. Swami Vidyananada Giri, Swami Nityananda Giri, Swami Chidananda, Ananda Mayi Ma, Mataji, Fr. Raimundo Pannikar who encouraged me in my research in India.

I owe also thanks and respects to the swamis of the Shivananda Assoc. who have been calling me to lecture and giving me the opportunity to do research, to study Yoga, to touch so many on the path. all over the world.

Also thanks to Guru Mayi who has been a source of inspiration and teaching for many years, and now thanks to her who I call simply Ma of Kashi, she who is my special inspiration, teacher and Guru in these times.
